Independent portfolio case study built only from public information; not affiliated with or endorsed by Most Valuable Promotions (MVP) or the Professional Fighters League (PFL). Draft for Workflow 1, Step 6 (the earned stage of the Step 1 announcement). Capitalized text in brackets, such as [NAME], is a placeholder. Drafting notes
- Goal. One on-record chief executive interview within 48 hours of the announcement, then business and trade press.
- One exclusive. Offer the first interview to one outlet. The others get the release and interview availability the next day.
- Timing. Send the pitch when the release goes out. Do not pre-brief under embargo unless the outlet agrees in writing.
- Ground rules. The interview is on the record. The chief executive will not discuss individual fighter contracts or comment on the UFC.

Interview preparation
| Likely question | Answer approach |
|---|---|
| Why did John Martin leave? | John led PFL through the merger, and we thank John for that [P1, P2]. I'll let John speak about the decision. My focus is the transition. Do not speculate. |
| Is MVP MMA going to Netflix? | We will announce our U.S. partner when an agreement is final. Do not name platforms or predict a deal [P3]. |
| The UFC signed MVP fighters. Are you losing talent? | We wish every fighter well. Our focus is our roster and what we offer fighters. No rivalry claims [S6]. |
| What will fighters be paid? | Commitments are coming on [DATE]. At MVP MMA 1, every fighter was guaranteed at least $40,000 and could keep their own sponsors [P10, P9]. Do not say "fighter-first" until commitments are public. |
| When is Jake Paul's MMA debut? | That's Jake's to announce [P6]. |
