How to use this log
Proposed source cutoff: September 25, 2026. Every factual claim in the five deliverables must trace to a source ID in this log (P = primary, S = secondary). Audience findings trace to D-tier datasets (D = data), which inform perception only.
- Primary sources are company releases and on-record statements by named executives. They take precedence when sources conflict.
- Secondary sources are news reports. Use them for context, reaction, and facts the companies did not publish.
- Encyclopedia pages (Wikipedia) are used only to locate primary sources. They are not cited in the deliverables.
- Reporting after the cutoff goes into follow-up addenda, not the main documents.
- S13 through S17 were added on 2026-09-29 to source the blog post. Each was published before the cutoff and checked in a browser on 2026-09-29.
- The blog's search and Reddit claims are traced to individual D1 and D2 rows on the Data Citations page.
Primary sources
The July 30 merger release is the anchor document. The other entries are on-record executive statements, cited through the outlet that carried them.

Data sources
D-tier entries are audience and search datasets captured for the audience and narrative baseline (deliverable 2). They inform audience perception only. When data conflicts with a P or S source, the P or S source governs facts. Data is captured after the source cutoff, and each entry carries its own capture date.
